ALTER BRIDGE Planning New Studio Album, World Tour

December 12, 2012

According to a December 11 tweet by ALTER BRIDGE guitarist Mark Tremonti, he and two of his bandmates — singer Myles Kennedy and drummer Scott Phillips — met up with their management in their home state of Florida to plan the group's immediate future. Although Tremonti did not offer any additional details, a posting on AlterBridge.com indicates that ALTER BRIDGE's 2013 schedule will include a new studio album and a world tour.

ALTER BRIDGE's latest album, "ABIII", was self-released on Alter Bridge Recordings via EMI Label Services and debuted at #17 on The Billboard 200 chart.

The band issued a DVD, "Live At Wembley", at the end of March. The disc contains footage of one of the biggest headline shows of ALTER BRIDGE's career, which took place on November 29, 2011 at Wembley Arena in London, England.

ALTER BRIDGE is Kennedy, Tremonti, Phillips and Brian Marshall.
